Godex NB010 label printer
The Godex NB010 is a 203dpi thermal transfer and direct thermal printer with a single USB port, and the GoodLabel Designer driver guide links a dedicated NB010-series driver. The designer's NB010 entry is EZPL, 203dpi, so the resolution is set automatically when you choose the model.

The Godex NB010 is a 203dpi thermal transfer and direct thermal printer with a single USB port, and GoodLabel Designer includes a link to the dedicated NB010-series driver separately from the Godex universal driver. The NB010 entry in the model list is registered only as EZPL, 203dpi, so when you choose the model, the resolution is fixed at 203 DPI automatically.
Two ways to open the dedicated NB010 driver
The designer lists only printers installed in Windows, so on a PC connecting the NB010 for the first time, install the driver first. Click "Driver installation guide" in the Printer settings window, and the following two places lead to the same download.
- Clicking the Godex NB010-series link below the row of brand buttons opens the NB010/NB013 printer driver in the download library.
- Entering NB010 in the "Search by model" field shows a "Download dedicated driver" button for the Godex NB010 series instead of the general Godex driver button.
After installation, click "Installed — refresh" and the NB010 queue appears in the printer field. If the queue name still contains the text NB010, the model field fills in by itself; if you registered it under a different name, type NB01 in the model search and choose NB010 from the list.
Placement of the 3 sensors and media types
The NB010 has 1 reflective sensor that can be moved and 2 see-through sensors fixed at the center of the media. The center see-through sensors read the gap between labels, so for gap labels set the guides to the roll width so the roll sits in the center. For rolls positioned by a black stripe on the back, move the reflective sensor to the line where the mark passes.

When you choose Black mark, ^Q is left out and the NB010 prints based on the reference it last measured, so right after changing the roll, run a measurement on the printer once. Which EZPL command each field is sent as is collected in the command table on the G500 page.
Input example for small thermal roll labels
The NB010 accepts labels from 4mm long, and the designer's Printer settings window accepts widths from 10mm and heights from 5mm. So even the smallest size of GoodLabel thermal roll labels, 30x10mm (3,800 labels), can be entered as it is.
- For a 30x10mm label, one horizontal line is 240 dots (30x203/25.4, rounded up), and ^W30 and ^Q10,[gap] are sent on the first label of the job.
- If you start from the 40x30mm storage management label shared template, it is drawn as 320 dots wide and 240 dots high.
- When loading only thermal paper, change the print method to Direct thermal to send ^AD, and enter the roll's actual gap in the Gap length field instead of the default 3mm.

FAQ
- Does the NB013 use the same dedicated driver?
- The designer's dedicated driver link is attached to both the NB010 and NB013 models, so searching for NB013 opens the same download. The NB013 entry in the model list is registered as EZPL, 300dpi.
- After installing the driver, the printer appears in the printer field, but the model field is empty.
- If the Windows queue name does not contain the text NB010, automatic detection does not work. Choose NB010 from the list directly in the model search. If you type a name that is not in the list, a warning asks you to select from the list.
- If I switch between ribbon labels and thermal labels on the NB010, what do I change in the designer?
- Change only the print method field to match the roll: Thermal transfer (^AT) or Direct thermal (^AD). Both commands are sent on the first label of the job and stored in the NB010, so the new method applies from the first print after changing the roll.
