TSC TTP-345 label printer
The TSC TTP-345 is a TSPL printer with a 300 dpi (12 dots/mm) head in the same body as the TTP-247; selecting the model TTP-345 in GoodLabel Designer sets the resolution to 300. The print width is 106 mm, the max speed is 127 mm/s, and the media and ribbon conditions are the same as the TTP-247.

The TTP-345 is a model with a 300 dpi head that prints 12 dots per mm, mounted in the same clamshell body as the TTP-247. When you select the model TTP-345 in GoodLabel Designer, the only resolution option is 300 DPI. In exchange, the max speed is 127 mm per second (5 ips), the print width is 106 mm and the single label length is 1,016 mm, all less than the TTP-247.
Steps to move a layout made at 203 dpi to the TTP-345
- When you open a .glb file saved on a 203 dpi printer such as the TTP-247, the printer and 203 DPI setting from when it was saved are restored with it.
- Open the Printer settings window with the Printer button in the ribbon and select the TTP-345 driver registered in Windows. If the printer name contains TTP-345, the model field is filled in automatically; if not, enter TTP-345 in Search by model and select it.
- The moment you click Finish setup, the resolution changes to 300 DPI and the barcode widths and 2D code module sizes on the canvas are recalculated for the new resolution.
- The label width and height are saved in mm and carried as-is in the SIZE command, so if you use the same roll there is nothing to change. However, the print width narrows from 108 mm to 106 mm, so if any text or lines are placed beyond 106 mm, move them inward.

What the TTP-345 Printer settings items send
In standard RAW printing, the Designer sends SIZE and the media type command for each label, SET RIBBON if a print method is chosen, and DENSITY and SPEED ahead of the bitmap. Density starts at 11 within the TSPL range of 0–15, and speed starts at 3 within 1–10.
If the media type is Gap labels, the number in the Gap length field goes into the GAP command; for Continuous media, GAP 0 mm,0 mm is sent; and for Black mark, BLINE 3 mm,0 mm is sent. If the print method is left at the default "Printer settings", SET RIBBON is not sent, and the printer checks for itself whether a ribbon is loaded and chooses thermal transfer or direct thermal.
If you check "Print as image" in the print options, the Windows driver handles printing instead of the commands above, and density and media settings also follow the driver. Check the screen locations in the Printing chapter of the guide.
Labels and ribbons for the 300 dpi head
The roll conditions are exactly the same as the TTP-247, so the two models share labels and ribbons. Load media 20–112 mm wide and 0.06–0.19 mm thick in rolls wound with the printed side out; cores are 1–3 inches, and the max roll outer diameter inside the printer is 127 mm.
The ribbon conditions are ink side out, 1-inch core, 300 m long, 67 mm or less in outer diameter, and 40–110 mm wide. All width variants of the GoodLabel wax ribbon 300 m product fall within this range, and for direct thermal printing, load GoodLabel thermal roll labels without a ribbon.
When using black mark rolls, move the adjustable reflective black mark sensor to the line where the marks pass. Then send AUTODETECT with the Detect black mark button in Printer settings, and turn the power off and on once as instructed.

FAQ
- When I select TTP-345, only 300 DPI appears in the resolution field.
- In the Designer model list, the TTP-345 is registered with only 300 dpi, so 300 is selected automatically. The 203 dpi product with the same body is the TTP-247 entry in the list.
- Can I load the label rolls and ribbons I used on the TTP-247 as they are?
- The conditions — media width 20–112 mm, thickness 0.06–0.19 mm, roll outer diameter 127 mm, and ribbon 300 m, 40–110 mm wide, ink side out — are the same for both models, so load them as they are. What changes is the print width (106 mm) and the max length of a single label (1,016 mm).
- If the red LED flashes and the printer stops, what do I check first in the Designer?
- A flashing red LED means a print error such as out of paper, paper jam, out of ribbon or memory error. If media and ribbon remain, check that the label width and height in Printer settings match the actual roll, recalibrate the sensor with Detect media in the Troubleshoot window, and press the FEED button. If it still continues, initialize the printer.
